Soon after his birth a small island in Tuscany, Massimiliano’s (Max) family moved to Livorno where Max started playing basketball and had his first successes, winning 2 junior leagues championships. In 1984, he started his professional career, playing over 500 games for such clubs as Olimpia Milan, Fortitudo Bologna, Reggio Emilia, and Sassari. Over the course of his career as a basketball player, Max won the Italian Championship, Champions League (former Euroleague), Intercontinental Cup, as well as the second league’s championships.

In 2006, Max joined the team of Interperformances as a sports agent. Five years later, he founded his agency Alpha Agency. Later on, prior to joining BIG, he also cooperated with Octagon Europe. Massimiliano (Max) speaks English and Italian.
